I love shopping for travel clothes, particularly if I know it’s going to be hot wherever I’m going. Colourful dresses and playsuits and bikinis and sunglasses are just things that are super fun to buy, you know? And it’s usually a low-stress activity, unlike buying jeans for example.
So I thought I’d introduce you to a few items that are new to my Summer wardrobe this year and are already total travel fashion faves in my book! Let me know what you think of these beauts!
Summer Fashion Picks
The Bardot Midi Dress
Midi dresses are just so versatile. They’re light and breezy in the day but still feel special enough for summer evenings. A total holiday staple. And I’m seriously in love with this teal number from Superdry.
It’s bardot so you can get rid of those bikini strap tanlines, and the ruching around the bust feels supportive enough to not wear a bra, which is always a good thing. Plus, it’s really light crepe fabric so rolls up small in your backpack/suitcase.
Oh and did I mention it’s bloody gorgeous? WINNER.

The Day Jumpsuit
Jumpsuits are pretty much the equivalent of wearing pyjamas that are socially acceptable to be worn in public. So they’re perfect for exploring a new city!
This blue and white number by Animal is completely gorge and I really like the back straps! It’s also cotton so super easy breezy when it’s hot out. I’ve styled it up with a tan leather cross body bag that’s also by Animal as well as these tan espadrilles from Public Desire that are really comfy to walk around in.

The Night Jumpsuit
A jumpsuit that’s a bit more sophisticated is perfect for a night time look on your travels. This khaki Superdry bad boy is super on trend and can be styled up with heels and jewellery. But on my Anchored cruise it was a pretty cash vibe, so I went for flat sandals and a beach tote instead.
Such a versatile piece that’s perfect for travelling as it suits so many occasions!

The Denim Playsuit
A denim playsuit is equally cute and chic, which is the ultimate combo really. Plus, they’re super comfortable for any kind of activity-based days you may have on your travels.
I wore this Superdry playsuit over a floral bardot top (also Superdry) on my Lake Bled day tour in Slovenia and it was perfect for exploring! A really good fit too which I struggle with when it comes to playsuits!

The Espadrilles
So you may have noticed from the photos above that I’ve invested in not one but TWO pairs of espadrilles this summer. Mainly because I never realised before how comfortable they actually are. I walked all over Ljubljana in the tan Public Desire beauts and for miles in Santorini in the Superdry cream stunners. Totally comfy.
And both have the cross-over laces that look super cute with summer dresses. Score.

The Little Red Dress
Yessss ok this is also a Superdry dress. You may have noticed a pattern. I went OTT on Superdry gear this summer for sure.
But how gorge is this little red broderie anglais beauty? It’s so cute and I feel like it hugs me in the right places without being too clingy. Plus, it’s adorable. I love it.
