Oh hi, yes, hello. I'm Kara.
I'm a millennial potato-fiend, a working mum of two, a book enthusiast, a thirty-something adventurer, a career gal and a ~sometimes~ content creator.
This used to be all travel all the time, but since I had my little ratbags, my priorities changed a bit. You'll certainly find family adventures here, as I show my kids the world, but you'll also find rants about motherhood, with a bit of interiors and some book recs thrown in for good measure.
Let's go! x
Love your pics and the topshop red bikini is so cute!

Hey,love ur blog.Just have a wee question looking for some advice…do u think its best to buy summer clothes now?Im going to oz in nov and scared that nearer the time it will be all winter woolies but if I buy now I’ll be bored of them by the time I go and want shiney new clothes…any advice?x
Hey, thanks hun! YES definitely get your shop on now. I had the same situation, I went in January when there isn’t a single bikini or pair of denim shorts in the shops. Although if you wait until July/August you’ll get the summer sales which is always good. And remember you can get summer clothes all year round on ASOS and other fashion websites. Re wanting new clothes, you can always buy now and save until your hols. I did that with a few things, just so I had a bit of newness in my outfits. You could get the basics now and get a few new fashion pieces nearer your departure date. Hope that helps! xx
Yeah thanks hun!I think I will wait to the sales and then nearer the time get my asos on x
I dont leave for my rtw until next april/may (still planning) and just a quick thought for all those not leaving until next year wait until the winter comes and buy all your summer travelling outfits in the sales 🙂 bargain!!!
