I’ve only gone and done an EASTER GIVEAWAY.

Drum roll please…

The Easter Giveaway is nearly here!!

I’ve been planning this giveaway for a while now and I’m psyched it’s actually happening! We all love free stuff yeah? And when you’re planning to go travelling, you need free stuff the most. You’re being frugal and penny-pinching in every way possible, so a haul of free goodies you can take with you on your travels is sure to brighten your day, right?

So what is the prize, I hear you exclaim!

Well, I’m always going on about getting the perfect rucksack to use as your daypack on your trip and I really rate Mi-Pac – see the blog post I put up last month here. The Peruvian Diamond rucksack (RRP £29.99) has been donated by the lovely people at Mi-Pac and is just so lush with it’s quirky green pattern and durable ethnic fabric. It has an inner pocket to keep your laptop if you’re taking one, and the outside pocket is perfect to pop in your passport and travel documents when you’re using it as your carry-on!

Next we have the travel planning organiser that is ‘The World Awaits’ by Kate Pocrass (RRP £12.99). I posted a review on this beaut a while back (see here) and if I was planning a trip right now, I would totally be keeping it for myself! I’ve also thrown in ‘Experience Passport’ by Alex Egner (RRP £7.99), a quirky little book that isn’t really reserved to travelling but encourages you to get out of your comfort zone and think outside the box. It’s pretty neat. These 2 books were donated by the super publishers that are Abrams & Chronicle.

Then we have a black trapeze top in size 10 (RRP £30), donated by the awesome brand Wolf & Whistle. I’ve tweeted about this brand before as they do really nice swimwear, that’s totally affordable for the backpacker budget. This top is perfect for nights out when you’re travelling. You don’t want to be to dressy when you’re going to backpacker bars and beach parties, so team this top with high-waisted denim shorts and sandals and you’re good to go. They’ve also thrown in a canvas tote for the lucky winner, and you know how I feel about totes.

And you were intrigued by the J-Pillow when I vlogged about it the other week right? Here’s a chance to get one, as the lovely people of J-Pillow have donated to the backpacker cause! (Don’t worry this one is brand new, I haven’t slept on it!) Super comfy, guys (RRP £13.99).

So because of the name of my blog, I wanted to include both heels and a backpack in the competition. Well we have the awesome Mi-Pac backpack but how about the heels? Well I had the dilemma of what size do I get? What level of heel would the winner be comfortable in? Wide fit or regular? It’s a minefield. Luckily the awesome people at Keds have swooped in to the rescue! They’re not heels but they’re shoes. And we love shoes. They have donated these kick-ass pumps (RRP £43) in a pretty blue and green hue, that remind me of a mermaid! They’ll be super cute on your travels right? And I wore Keds for most of my USA trip, walking around the rim of the Grand Canyon and exploring new cities… they’re super comfortable. Keds will send these out directly to the winner after the competition so you can choose your size. Problem solved.

I’ve topped up this bundle of goodies with a few of the essentials for your trip. I’ve thrown in 2 New Look headscarves – a tie-up Aztec number and a lush turban-esque floral one. Perfect for keeping your hair out of your face in the heat and covering up greasy hair after a long flight. There’s also a super-cute heart-print toiletries bag with the essential Carmex and anti-bacterial gel.

This awesome haul is worth over £140!! Good prize right?

So how can you get your hands on it all?

It’s ridiculously easy. There will be a post up on Twitter (@HeelsInBackpack) at 9am on Good Friday, 3rd April 2015. All you have to do is re-tweet it before the end of the bank holiday weekend and follow the Heels In My Backpack account if you haven’t already! Simple.
