The Wonder that is Dry Shampoo

by

I didn’t really think about bringing dry shampoo on my travels. At home, I only tend to use it when I have to go to work early and don’t want to wash my hair so just give my roots a few spritz of Batiste. Come on, we all do it. So when you’re bumming around Sihanoukville or island hopping the Gulf of Thailand, surely you have all the time in the world to wash your hair… You must not need to bring dry shampoo, right?

Now factor in the fact that most of the guesthouses you’ll be staying in don’t have hot water. You don’t want to do that horrid ice cold hair wash every day.

Then think about those oil massages you’re going to get on the beach. Your hair’s not going to look good after that.

And how about the 30 hour bus rides with either intense heat or intense aircon… Can your hair withstand that?

Luckily they now do Batiste in travel size. I took one just in case and didn’t regret it. And they’re so small you can’t really go wrong. Just something to think about.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

(I sound like I’m massively promoting Batiste here, but really any travel size dry shampoo will do!)
