You guys… I FLY TO AUSTRALIA TODAY. Holy mackerel, it’s been a long time coming.
But first things first, let’s talk plane outfits. Because let’s face it, the flight is pretty gruelling and I need to be as comfy as possible. I generally like to wear clothes as close as possible to PJs on long-haul flights and Superdry’s new Sports and Yoga ranges seemed completely perfect. So here’s what I’ve gone for…
Superdry Plane Outfit – AW16
I’ve opted for Superdry’s ballet-inspired tie-up studio cardigan which is super soft and cosy and generally just looks really cute! I like that it can be work wrapped right around and tied at the back to keep you toasty or worn quite loose and tied up the front. Mainly because I feel like on flights you go through a multitude of temperatures and these kind of versatile pieces are totally key.
I’ve paired it with an equally soft black bodysuit underneath. Because layers, guys. It’s all about layers. Your mum was right.
I wanted to go full yoga with this outfit and wear Superdry’s yoga pants with it but alas my petite little legs are too short and it just wasn’t working for me. So I’ve gone with their core gym leggings in grey. Like I said, as close to PJs as possible.
But the cherry on top of my Superdry plane outfit is quite possibly the best carry-on bag of them all. The Amelia Tote bag of dreams. Like seriously, I’m obsessed with it. I’ve always been a girl that likes the tote bag shape but the thing is they’re usually wide open with all of your belongings at a pick-pocket’s fingertips. So it’s always put me off. But the Amelia tote bag beauty come with a large zip-up compartment inside! This also makes it really handy for a flight bag, because I always struggle to find things in a big bag. The compartments make it a lot easier.
Plus, it’s really pretty to look at. Bonus.
I’ve styled up this plane outfit with a red bandana that I’m pretty sure I got from a market in Thailand as well as some £3 Primark pumps and my new Vans polka dot sunglasses that I’m super psyched about.
