I always think blogger events can be a bit hit or miss. But this week’s preview of Paperchase’s SS16 range was a definite hit! So I thought I would share some photos with you guys.
The evening started with the designers at Paperchase taking us through the different ranges for next year, talking through all of their inspirations. It was actually really interesting to learn how they come up with prints, and I spied a lot of cool travel accessories I want to get my mitts on!
I particularly like their zebra themed range which had a rather fabulous wash bag that I have my eye on as well as the usual passport cover and luggage tag goodies.
The valentine’s day slogans on notebooks were pretty funny as well!
Then Paperchase set us some creative tasks! Yay!
The first was to take one of their mini Christmas trees and style it up with all of Paperchase’s Christmas trinkets and treasures to reflect your personality. Inevitably mine was engulfed in baubles and was pretty much as tacky as it gets. I don’t know what that says about my personality but it was super fun! My highlight was definitely finding a Christmas decoration of a raccoon in a tutu… because everyone needs a raccoon in a tutu of course.
And I even got to take it home! Christmas has come early in Casa Del Kara.
Next up was a crafty session with expert Laura Reed! She taught us how to make some nifty little pin wheels with cute embellishments. Cue half an hour of getting glue all over my hands and getting glitter everywhere…
It was such a fun night and definitely my kind of blogger event. I mean who doesn’t like an evening of spotting cute travel journals, doing some arts and crafts and shopping for Christmas decs? Am I right?
You can check out more of the fabulous Paperchase ranges here. Thanks for having me Paperchase!
What do you think of the sneak peek to next year’s Paperchase goodies? And what did you think of my kitsch little tree? And that raccoon! Leave a comment below or tweet me @HeelsInBackpack!
I absolutely love Paperchase and could spend a fortune in there. The new range looks great!
