I’ve got a pretty niche blog here – fashion, beauty and travel tips all aimed at girly backpackers planning their trip. And with a niche readership, I’ll admit I sometimes stretch it out a bit to cover things I want to write about.
Therefore I feel I should tell you outright that a lip scrub is not essential to pack. You can use your exfoliator for a start. And I always recommend taking Carmex with you. So why am I writing about it? Because it’s my new find and I like it so I feel the need to share this information.
The Lush Lip Scrub comes in lots of flavours but the one I’ve discovered is Mint Julips. AKA, mint chocolate flavour!
I’m prone to really dry lips but a rub of this sugar-based scrub leaves them soft and smooth, and tasting delicious! (Just ask my boyfriend.)
In all fairness my lips get super chapped in hot climates so I will definitely be taking it on my next trip. It is really small after all, perfect for a carry-on bag.
And for those of you that weren’t intending to take an exfoliator but get dry lips, this is your answer! The lip scrubs are £5.50 and you can get them online if you don’t have a Lush store near you.
Get scrubbing.
Check out my review on this product too pls 🙂
