An exfoliator is a bit of a luxury item to be taking with you on your trip, I know. But when you’re in hot climates and you’re super tanned, your skin feels dry and thirsty and just in need of a good scrub!
On my travels, I sacrificed taking a daily face wash in order to be able to take a scrub. I went with St Ives Apricot Scrub. It’s deep-cleaning and leaves my skin feeling really smooth. And it’s oil-free and hypoallergenic so good to my skin!

The only problem I had was that St Ives Apricot Scrub exfoliator is so unabrasive that I used it daily and ran out pretty quickly! And it’s not like I was going to find a replacement in the Mekong Delta…
A travel buddy of mine used The Body Shop’s Vitamin C Microdermabrasion. This is serious stuff.

You only use it once or twice a week and it leaves your skin ridiculously soft! Because of this it lasts months as you only need a tiny bit each time. Perfect for backpacking!

So go on, join the exfoliating nation! Let me know if there’s any good’uns you would recommend.
