November Faves 2017

by

Oh hai there. No big deal but it’s NEARLY CHRISTMAS.

But hold up, before I start listening to Christmas songs on repeat, rocking the reindeer earrings and eating my weight in cheese boards, here’s what went down in November.

This Month I’m Enjoying… Fireworks Night

The beginning of the month seems so long ago now, but I had a really fab Bonfire Night with my pals. Usually we’re crammed together and freezing cold at a busy fireworks display, but this year we found the ideal location – The Betsey Wynne in Swanbourne.

It’s wasn’t too busy, we had mulled wine and burgers and watched the fireworks from comfy seats by an outdoor heater. Absolute perfection. Would def recommend it if you’re in the Milton Keynes area.

This Month I’m Wearing… Green Chenille Jumper

There’s a chill in the air and the heating is on, it’s officially time to start buying knitwear! Hooray!

And y’know, I’m always saving for my next trip so I don’t want to “invest” in expensive items of clothing or anything. Just a few budget knits to keep me warm and vamp up my wardrobe a little.

Well I am obsessed with this forest green chenille beauty with a high neck from… wait for it… TESCO. I have it on good authority that there is a similar version from Whistles but this bad boy only cost me £14. Bargain or what?

It’s also very snug and warm. And I’m obsessed with the colour because it’s bright and makes a statement without being in your face. And I think it will qualify as subtly Christmassy.

This Month I’m Eating… Thanksgiving Dinner

One of my best pals Jordan is half-American and fully embraced the Thanksgiving holiday with a big roast dinner at his house. He made a delish turkey and the rest of us brought round our own contribution to the meal. I made a cauliflower cheese that, although caused me massive stress to cook, went down well with the masses.

I just love this time of year as it’s when I spend the most time with my friends. Nawww.

This Month I’m Excited About… My Beauty Advent Calendar

My mum has bought me an advent calendar every year of my life. It doesn’t matter that I’m 29 years old.

Usually I get a chocolate variety but as I’ve been on a bit of a health kick this month, Mama Heels got me my very first beauty calendar! I’m not really sure what to expect from it being non-branded make-up, but I’m v excited about it.

This Month I Travelled To… Spain & Poland!

It was a busy month in November with two very different trips – I got a bit of winter sun and ate tapas in Alicante, Spain with Jet2, then wrapped up for Christmas markets and mulled wine in Wroclaw, Poland with Wizz Air!

Both were such lovely trips as I really relaxed and enjoyed myself. If you’ve missed them, take a look at my blog posts from the trip – Wroclaw here and Alicante here.

Next Month I’m Travelling to… Marbella & The Cotswolds!

Next week I’m heading back to Spain, to sunny Marbella. Alas, this is actually for a work trip as part of my 9-5 so will predominantly involve conference rooms and spreadsheets. But fingers crossed for a few nice dinners and a bit of sunshine between the presentations. I don’t normally blog about work trips but make sure you’re following along with my Instagram Stories to see what I’m getting up to!

Then I’m literally landing back in London Luton and driving straight to The Cotswolds! It’s going to be a busy week. But I’m very much looking forward to staying in the most gorgeous cottage with Loghouse Holidays and spending time with my absolute favourite blogger babes – Sophie, Sam, Ellie and Liv. Possibly with some cameos from other gorge gals in the area. Watch this space.

Anyway fam, that’s everything that went down in November. Stay tuned for December’s Christmas shindigs and adventures. Love you long time.
