Book Review: Vive Le Color India

by

You may remember around this time last year I reviewed an adult colouring book focused on one of my favourite cities – Color This Book: San Francisco. I just really like colouring, it’s theraputic and fun and I pretty much feel like I’m 5 years old again without any worries about how I’m ever going to be able to afford a mortgage or how I should complete my tax return. So there’s that.

Well I found a new travel-themed colouring book and thought I would share it with you babes. You know how I’ve been perving over India lately? Well Vive Le Color India is full of beautiful India-themed line art for you to fill with colour to your heart’s content. Think intricate mandalas and embellished elephants and beautiful Indian patterns.

It’s making me want to visit India even more though, which is becoming a bit of a problem since I’m out of annual leave until next year… WAH. One day I’ll make it to the Taj, I promise.

I had a crack at colouring both in colouring pencils and Josh’s Promarkers (benefits of living with a Graphic Designer), which was a lot of fun. And the posh pens didn’t go through the thick paper which is a result really. Because flashback to my childhood and colouring in pens meant the next 2-3 pictures were completely ruined. Hashtag 7 year old problems.

Vive Le Color India is also a tear out and keep kinda book so if you really like one of your masterpieces you can stick it on the fridge obvs. Well why not, right? Who needs a fridge full of wedding invites and bills due when you could have pretty mandalas all over the gaff.

Overall a nice little book to keep me busy whilst I’m waiting for my next trip. And a cool gift for the India-lover in your life if you ask me. Check it out here.
