I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for over 3 years and have never mentioned my all-time favourite lipstick. And it’s totally relevant too. When you’re cutting down on how much make-up you’re taking travelling, you have to make sure you have good quality products. And Stila’s Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick is as good as it gets.
I spent the years leading up to my discovery of this product zig-zagging between lipsticks that disappear as soon as you take a sip of a drink, to supposedly long-lasting lipsticks that completely dry out your lips. Stay All Day on the other hand does exactly what it says on the tin, without sacrificing the moisture and softness of your pout.
It’s a liquid lipstick, so you apply it as you would a lip gloss with an angled applicator, and it dries into a perfectly matte finish. And you can eat a 3 course meal and drink all the wine you like, the colour stays put! I’m telling you this product is an absolute gem.
I’ve tried 3 shades so far:
- Beso – The perfect shade of red that suits everyone. It’s my go-to lipstick to jazz up a day-to-night outfit.
- Tesoro – A more orangey shade of red that I just adore. A more stylish shade I think.
- Carina – A cool shade of coral-pink. It’s not for everyone but something a bit different.
But I still have lots more to try. Next of my list is a dark red shade for winter – Fiery.
Other than Mac’s Fluidline Eyeliner, this is probably the make-up item I champion most among my friends and a lot of them have jumped on the bandwagon. I mean, why wouldn’t you, it’s such a superstar lipstick!
Anyway, that’s all I have to say on the matter. You just gotta try this fella. It’s £15 and you can buy it on the Stila website or in selected Boots stores.
