Hit The Beach: Sunnies at the Ready

by

Ok, so I only have a couple of tips when it comes to your choice of sunglasses, so this is a fairly short post. But I thought it was worth sharing the wisdom nonetheless.

Firstly, keep it cheap! Do not bring expensive designer sunglasses on your trip. Sure your Ray-Bans are cool as fuck, but you’re going to be devo when you lose them at a beach party. Or they get crushed when your rucksack is tossed onto the back of a longtail boat. Both entirely possible scenarios.

Also, you will be surrounded by travellers in fake Ray-Bans that they picked up from a local market for a dollar. That’s going to suck when you paid out a fortune for yours.

Secondly, think about your destination when you’re choosing your sunnies. Those uber-chic round frames you look so damn stylish walking around Shoreditch in, might look silly when you’re building schools in Africa. That’s your call though, if you think you’d still rock them, 100% go for it. But you might get some funny looks is all I’m saying. I’d still totally go for the quirky ones though, your photos will be fabulous.

Lastly, have some fun with colour! Colourful sunglasses are not for an everyday drive in the countryside in the UK, but on Bondi Beach? The brighter, the better.

Here’s my favs on the High Street right now. All added to my Pinterest board with links of course – https://www.pinterest.com/heelsin/off-of-the-high-street/
